Gilded Cage by Vic James – I received this as an e-book from the publisher via NetGalley. This was a really interesting concept. Every regular person must spend 10 years doing mandatory labor. Abi picks and applies for a placement for the entire family within a household of Equals, except her brother Luke is sent to do manual labor. The Equals have special powers and they are the country’s politicians (imagine if our current government had magical powers). The labor camps are on the verge of rioting (think concentration camps, but maybe not as strict). I liked it. I look forward to reading the next installment. I’m giving it 4 stars.

And that’s actually it for Week 37. I have no idea how I got so far behind.
